The Batavia Park District has thirty one full-time employees and takes pride in its ability to serve the over 25,000 residents of Batavia. We depend on all of our employees to provide a friendly and courteous experience to all our guests so they will visit us again and again. With almost two hundred part-time and seasonal employees at various times throughout the year to operate various programs and facilities, we look for individuals who like to have fun while delivering accurate and friendly service.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the Batavia Park District team, there are five ways to apply:

In person - stop by the Batavia Park District Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson St., and drop off your completed application. Front desk hours are: M-Th 8:00am - 7:00pm,
F 8:00am - 5:00pm and Sat. 9:00am - 12noon.

The Park District receives hundreds of applications each year to fill its full-time, part-time and seasonal openings. Unfortunately, there are only a limited number of positions available. You will be contacted for an interview if you are being considered for a position. If you do not hear from us, you most likely are not being considered at the present time. We also do not generally respond to unsolicited applications. Applications are kept on file for one year. If a position becomes available we will first review current applications on file. After one year, applicants will need to re-apply.

If you apply for full-time employment with us, you will be required to successfully complete a pre-placement physical and drug screen. The Park District will also conduct a criminal background check on all prospective employees through the Illinois State Police as required by Illinois State law. There are certain convictions that will automatically disqualify you from employment.
