What is a Partner?
A Partner is a group in the community who falls under ONE or more of the following:
- A group or organization that is tax supported with current intergovernmental agreements with the District.
- Currently has shared land and facilities agreement with the District.
- Tax supported groups, which patrol and protect District assets.
- Organizations that assist with the enforcement of the District ordinances and control use and conduct of the parks and facilities.
- Provide a substantial monetary support for the development of District land and facilities to include monetary of material donations, volunteer hours, in kind services or other non - monetary based activities based upon the previous fiscal year, not passed donations.
- Provides a substantial recreational service to the District, which saves the district from hiring other or additional personnel.

Batavia Youth Baseball ("BYB")
BYB provides competitive and non- competitive youth baseball programs for ages 6-17.

Tri-Cities Soccer
Tri-Cities Soccer Association is the largest independent recreational soccer organization in Northern Illinois . This all volunteer organization, co-sponsored with the park districts of Batavia , Geneva , St. Charles and South Elgin, has been serving the Fox Valley area since 1977. The goal of our organization is to introduce and promote the game of soccer to the youth of the Tri-Cities area and it is our intention for it to be a learning experience for both players and their parents.

What is an Affiliate?
An Affiliate is a group in the community who assist voluntarily with the promotion and development of District events and meets a recreational and/or open space need(s) on an ongoing and annual basis.

Plain Dirt Gardeners
The Plain Dirt Gardeners support and conduct educational and informational activities that promote gardening. They also support the Batavia Wildflower Sanctuary and other community projects related to gardening and native plan preservation. The Plain Dirt Gardeners provide a network wherein gardeners can share their expertise and further a strong and growing interest in gardening.

The Batavia MainStreet program is a not-for-profit, community-based organization devoted to enhancing downtown Batavia 's identity as the heart of the community through dedicated volunteer efforts.

What is a Friend?
A Friend is a group in the community who requests the use of District land or facility space and assists in meeting a recreational and/or open space need on an occasional or isolated basis.
