Growing Relationships with Deep Roots

Even within the public sector the element of creating and fostering partnerships is a vital component to the Batavia Park District. The Park District would like to step forward and acknowledge all the PAF Members and Sponsors and publicly thank them for their continued cooperation and support.

One agency cannot serve alone, and many benefits are derived by working together with our community organizations:

• Reduce the levels of duplication in programs and services towards community needs.

• Build community spirit and involvement through joint programs, events and use of volunteers.

• Reduce burden on taxpayers by entering into intergovernmental agreements, public-private cooperatives and shared use of facilities, equipment and expertise.

• The providing of a diverse and comprehensive recreational program portfolio that would otherwise not be offered without cooperation and use of volunteer organizations.

• Provide opportunities to apply district resources for other priorities through use of sponsorships donations and in-kind services.
