District-wide & Individual Awards/Recognition

The Batavia Park District's "2005 Award of Excellence" was given to Allison Niemela (Director of Marketing & Public Relations) and Kaylee Gallagher (New Horizons Preschool Teacher) for their dedication and level of service to the District.

The Rotarian of the Year award was given to Michael Clark (Executive Director) by the Batavia Rotary Club.

The Midwest Institute of Park Executives (M.I.P.E.) "2004 President's Award" was given to Jim Eby (Director of Planning & Development) and Eric Lacher (Director of Parks and Properties) for their dedication of service.

The 2004 M.I.P.E. " Outstanding Park Employee Award" was given to Tony Domanski (Park Technician I).

District received "Best Brochure Cover" recognition for the Fall 2004 Fun Guide at the Illinois Park and Recreation Association's state conference.

The Batavia Park District's "2004 Award of Excellence" was given to Shane Ultsch (Mechanic) and to Chris Winter (Museum Exhibit Technician) for their dedication and level of service to the District.

The "2004 Benefit Coordinator of the Year Award" was given to Jim Schuler (Director of Human Resources and Support Services) by the Park District Risk Management Agency (PDRMA).
