Hall Quarry Beach Managers Noah Johnson (pictured in white) and Aidan Rydell (pictured center in blue) will be honored at tonight's City Council Meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers., 100 N. Island Ave. with a proclamation for their courageous lifesaving actions during a medical emergency at the Quarry.

It's not too late to register and expand your preschool age child's mind with exciting STEAM focused morning and afternoon programming tailored to 3-5 year olds. The New Adventures PlayLab sparks creativity, nurtures curiosity and gives little learners more opportunities to play, discover and make friends. Energy City Soccer is a developmental league introducing young players to the game of soccer including soccer skills, fundamentals and playing on a team. This will be a one day per week commitment as teams will practice for a half-hour and then play their games after practice. There will not be goal keepers and all players will have a chance to play at last half the game.

Try out for the Batavia Park District's 10U travel softball program for the 2027 season! Age groups and teams will be set based upon level of player and overall interest. Tryouts will be Monday, August 10 at Memorial Park, ballfield #1. Pre-registration is preferred. Players must be 10 year old or younger as of September 1, 2026 in order to participate and be qualified to play on a team.
