Many programs offered at Batavia Park District have sessions for different ages. Explore all of the different activities and see if they are perfect for your entire family.
The Batavia Park District and the Batavia Lions Club are teaming up for the NexTrex recycling challenge! Donate your clean plastic recyclable bags and film and if we hit our goal, NexTrex will donate a FREE park bench made of the recycled material to the Park District for everyone to enjoy.
We're almost halfway there!
Accepted items: Grocery bags, bread bags, bubble wrap, dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, ice bags, plastic shipping envelopes, resealable food storage bags, cereal bags, case overwrap, salt bags, pallet wrap and stretch film, wood pellet bags and produce bags.
Please note: All plastic must be clean, dry and free of food residue.

Back for year five, Batavia’s favorite outdoor craft beer festival is bringing together local breweries, food trucks and enough beer samples to make choosing a favorite very difficult.
Your ticket includes:
• 3 hours of craft beer tastings
• Up to 20 three-ounce samples
• Brews from a dozen local breweries
• A commemorative beer glass
• Admission to a very good excuse to hang out with your friends

Our basketball leagues are all about learning the game, building skills and having fun on the court. Young players will work on fundamentals, teamwork and confidence while getting plenty of opportunities to practice and play. Just bring your sneakers, your energy and a willingness to learn.

You're invited to the premiere of "Our Hometown History", a new video program presented by the Batavia Depot Museum and proudly sponsored by the Batavia Park District. Through photographs and treasures from the Museum’s remarkable collection, the program brings Batavia’s fascinating people, places and stories to life.

The 20-minute screening will be followed by a discussion and light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public. You can register using the QR code on the invitation.

Calling all Halloween enthusiasts! The Batavia Park District invites you to showcase your spooky creativity in our Halloween House Decorating Contest! Whether your style is hauntingly eerie, delightfully spooky, or full of whimsical charm, this is your chance to transform your home into a Halloween masterpiece and win a fantastic prize.
Categories: Overall Halloween Spirit and People's Choice (voted by the community)
Judging Information:
All displays will be judged on Wednesday, October 14, between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Be sure your decorations are up and visible for our judges during this time!
Prizes:
Winners in both categories will receive a Batavia Park District prize package, which will be awarded the following day.
How to Participate:
